Northern Chesapeake Builders Corp took on the renovation project at Piney Branch Golf Club, a renowned golf course that initially opened as a nine-hole layout in 1964. Known for its impeccable course conditioning, particularly its fast, sloping greens, this par 71 course has hosted prestigious events, including three United States Amateur qualifiers in the past 12 years and various Maryland State Golf Association tournaments. The focal point of the renovation centered around the clubhouse, where significant improvements were made, including the addition of a spacious banquet hall accommodating up to 250 guests and an outdoor pavilion capable of hosting up to 150 attendees.

These enhancements transformed the venue into an ideal choice for hosting weddings and large gatherings, leading to approximately 30 weddings and over 100 outside events annually, ranging from birthday parties to reunions. While the golf course itself remains fully private, the newly upgraded facilities are now available for the general public to rent, along with the option to host more than 20 outings a year on Mondays or Thursdays.
