The young and successful firm, Michel Warehousing Corp, recognized a need for a “high-end” rail-served warehousing facility in the Cockeysville area, enlisted the services of Northern Chesapeake Builders for a complete design and build turn-key project, which resulted in the attractive, functional 213,000 s.f. brick structure depicted.

The Michel organization, as experts and specialists in the field of public warehousing, understood that their involvement on any other than a superficial level in the construction of such a large facility would necessarily impair their ability to service their existing accounts and to acquire new clients. Realizing this, they made their requirements known to Norther Chesapeake and, with the stipulation that final design and budgets were subject to approval, placed the whole problem in our hands. One year later (the project was built in two-phases) the building was complete, occupied, and on budget.
